Welcome to Drowsy Dog.
Don't worry. This isn't one of those sites where some person rambles on and on about their pet as if the entire world cares.
"Why Drowsy Dog?" you may ask. After many years and several different vanity domains—each one derived from my name and each one equally mediocre—I was ready for a domain name that was easy to remember, somewhat catchy, and didn't rely on my name at all. This is where my dog, Carlos, comes in.
If you know me, you probably know Carlos. Carlos is my ~3 year old long haired chihuahua (probably with a little papillon thrown in for extra cuteness) whom I got when he was 6 months old. Carlos wasn't raised well before I got him, so he's very hesitant to warm up to new people; however, he is VERY lovey once you gain his trust. Carlos is also very sleepy. I estimate that he sleeps around 12-18 hours per day—I literally have to pick up his limp, lifeless body and carry him to the door for his morning walk.
Well, given that Carlos is probably the most, shall we say unique, character in my life and my affinity for alliteration (see what I did there?), I decided on Drowsy Dog.
There's the obligatory pet post and introduction post, all rolled into one. You're welcome...and now we can get to the good stuff.
I'm not exactly sure what this site is going to be about, yet. Lots of photos, maybe some random ramblings, and anything else that I find interesting. I hope you'll check it out periodically and leave feedback. I hope that someone out there will enjoy reading the site as much as I will enjoy making it.
